Established in 2002 by Dawn and Alex Monelli, Monelli Educational Services offers educational consulting services through personalized instruction. We employ a research-based cognitive approach, hands-on and multisensory methods, and interconnecting learning for true results.
What We Do
As a nonprofit educational service provider, we have worked with the entire spectrum of learning from the struggling to the elevated. Our educators personalize each service to meet the needs of the individual.

Our Staff
Dawn and Alex Monelli
Dawn is an Alumni of HACC and York college of Pa for Secondary education math/science. She later went back to acquire another degree in Psychology from University of Valley Forge, then finished her master's at Liberty University, in Psychology and counseling. She has 34 years of teaching experience. She is the executive director and co-founder of Monelli Educational Services. She has a passion for teaching, trying to generate a love of learning in all her angels. She coached soccer and basketball coach for over 20 years. Dawn still coaches chess and sits on the Pennsylvania scholastic chess committee. She is proud of all her Pennsylvania and US chess champions.Besides spending time with all her angels, she loves reading and spending time with family
Alex is a co-founder of Monelli Educational Services he is a retired Boiler Engineer Technician. He currently is the head of maintenance and security as well as being head chess coach.
Shane Elliott
Shane has been with Monelli Education Services for ten years as a tutor, behavioral/instructional aide, and site director. Shane has a bachelor's degree Commercial Arts and is currently finishing his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, helping students through art therapy. Shane enjoys getting creative and making the school-day fun.
Christian "Chip" monelli
Chip has a degree in secondary education social science from H.A.C.C. and a bachelor's from the University of Valley Forge and HACC in youth ministry and church leadership. He has been with Monelli Educational Services as a site director, and instructional aide for 16 years. Chip loves comic books, anything associated with ancient mythology and legends
chandler monelli
Chandler has been with MES, Inc for 6 years. Chandler has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Valley Forge and is finishing a master's in psychology from Liberty University. Besides being a top chess player, is one of our chess coaches. He loves working with his students, hanging out with his beautiful wife, son, and friends.

Mrs. Ward has been part of the Monelli Education family for six years. She earned her degree in Social Work from Shippensburg University and brings over 20 years of experience helping students with different learning styles thrive.

As we put learning at the heart of everything we do, our students are constantly making academic progress. More than 75% of our high school students are dual-enrolled in various college programs.
Their hard work is shown in our 100% graduation rate and a 95% college acceptance rate. We also have some of the top chess players in the country.
